It is equally easy to map extensive telecommunications or broadband networks (e.g., FTTx) in a wide area network, city, or local loop using outside plant management. All types of glass fiber and copper network topologies, including all the deployed technologies, are described using georeferenced representation in FNT GeoMaps or with the aid of schematic network plans via netspiders. Jul 10, 2012 Cable Routing and Scheduling. By utilizing a Microsoft Access database, our CableMatic Plus program is used for cable routing and preparing cable and conduit schedules. Using Excel or our DBView spreadsheet program, the cable designer prepares a list of cables and includes the cable type, origin/destination equipment and service level restrictions. For cable tray: Click in the Add Cable Trays dialog box. In the Cable Tray Layout Preferences dialog box on the Routing tab, select Automatically create riser at new Elevation. Click OK, and then enter an elevation in the Add Cable Trays dialog box. For conduit: Click (Preferences) on the Properties palette.

• The cable routing software will test your raceway fill again, and set the size accordingly when there are no fill errors found. The user also has the option to stop a raceway from being resized based on needs, for example when a 36' tray is desired for growth in the plant but may not be necessary at the time of the design.
• The CablePro software application is designed for cable management of data, voice and video network infrastructures. It is an ideal tool for documenting the design, and cataloging the components.
